Oura is probably the most well-known at this point. Recent rumors claim that Samsung could be developing something of their own, and it looks like Apple could join them.

As MacRumors points out, the idea of Apple making a smart ring isn’t new. There are various patents Apple has filed in the past to indicate that they have toyed with the idea. The difference is that this report suggests that Apple could actually be developing one as opposed to just coming up with the idea.

A smart ring might be a good idea for the reason we mentioned above. It is less bulky compared to a watch and more discreet, making it a better alternative for those who want health tracking features but don’t necessarily need a smartwatch. There’s no guarantee that this device will ever see the light of day, so don’t get your hopes up.
