For a lot of Pixel fans, Google’s Pixel Watch line of wearables is probably the definitive version of what Wear OS should look and feel like, with hardware components and software features that go hand-in-hand. With that being said however, one consideration that’s been an issue for some is the Pixel Watch’s lack of size options, with Google only offering a single 1.2-inch size for both the Pixel Watch 1 and 2.
This might soon change however, according to some new information online. A report from the folks over at 9to5Google states that Google is working on two different size variants for the Pixel Watch 3, according to an unnamed source. Of course at this point Google hasn’t confirmed anything with regards to its upcoming smart wearable, although if true this should give buyers an additional option to choose from.
By comparison, competing Wear OS brands such as Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 6 series come in different sizes, and even a “Classic” model which packs a different design with added functionality. As such, some have described the Pixel Watch and Watch 2 as feeling a bit too small for their wrist.
In any case, Pixel fans will have to wait a bit until Google officially teases its new wearable, or if someone manages to leak it again over the internet.
