Apple’s MagSafe charging has allowed iPhone users to enjoy a variety of wireless charging and docking solutions that Android phones lack. The announcement of the Qi2 wireless charging standard changed that. Now thanks to Satechi, Android users with Qi2 compatible wireless charging can check out some of these accessories.
Satechi has announced two new Qi2 wireless charging accessories. Both of these accessories are docks/stands in terms of design. One will be a 2-in-1 version that charges a phone and a set of wireless earbuds. The 3-in-1 model offers the same features but will come with an additional Apple Watch charger.
Both of these stands are foldable which means that if you want to bring them with you while you’re traveling, they can fold down flat to be more compact. The 2-in-1 model is priced at $79.99, while the 3-in-1 will set you back $129.99. Visually they look pretty great. They’re sleek and should be right at home on your desk.
Currently, there aren’t that many Qi2 compatible smartphones. That will change in 2024 as more handset makers should start adopting the new standard, so these are some accessories worth considering if you want a multiple-purpose wireless charging system for your desk or travel needs.
