Lenovo’s new Yoga hybrid PCs offers the best of both worlds

If you can’t decide between getting a laptop or a tablet, then maybe a hybrid PC could be the answer. These computers offer the ability to transform from a laptop to a tablet and back again. When it comes to these sorts of devices, Lenovo’s Yoga series is probably one of the better known lineups out there.

At CES 2024, Lenovo’s new Yoga hybrid PCs could have something for you if you’re interested in these types of computers.

Lenovo Yoga 9i series

Lenovo designed the Yoga 9i series with creatives in mind, offering computers in a couple of different form factors—the Yoga 9i, resembling a laptop, and the 2-in-1, a hybrid PC transforming from a laptop to a tablet.

Both of these computers come with Lenovo’s Smart Pen which allows users to write and draw on the computer’s display, whether you’re a student looking to take notes or an artist that wants to draw, the option is there.

The company has also ensured MID-STD-810H ratings for drop and shock protection on Lenovo’s new Yoga hybrid PCs, providing ease of mind when taking them out with you. As AI is a popular topic these days, the company has also included the use of the Lenovo AI Core Chip that helps power some of the AI functions of the computers.

This includes optimizing performance, battery life, and cooling. The laptop’s keyboard have also received an update that incorporates the new Copilot key which launches Microsoft’s new Copilot feature.

In addition to the Yoga 9i and Yoga 9i 2-in-1, Lenovo has also introduced the new Yoga Book 9i which is a unique laptop that comes with a dual screen design.

This opens up the possibility for new ways of multitasking and interacting with the computer, plus it also comes with a rotating Bowers & Wilkins soundbar which could be great for entertainment.

In addition to the Yoga 9i series of convertibles, Lenovo has also announced its Yoga 7i series of computers. For the most part, these offer up almost similar-levels of performances. The main difference would be in its GPUs and also max RAM options, but if you’re trying to save some money, the Yoga 7i series could be worth checking out as well.
