Meet the CineBeam Qube, LG’s New 4K Projector

0

With CES 2024 approaching very soon, we’re bound to see a ton of new and interesting tech to start off the new year. As such, LG recently teased its upcoming 4K projector, the CineBeam Qube. Built with both form and function in mind, the Qube comes with some pretty compelling features, as far as modern projectors are concerned.

In addition to 4K resolution support, the Qube runs on LG’s proprietary Web OS 6.0, and comes with compatibility for internet connectivity as well as content streaming via YouTube, Netflix, and Disney + for example. Of course, it can also connect to Android and iOS phones for added control convenience.

LG adds that the projector is able to project images of up to 120 inches, and it equipped with an RGB laser light source. Images are displayed with a 450,000:1 contrast ratio, and 154 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

In terms of design, the CineBeam Qube is reasonably compact, with a touch of retro tech styling allowing it to blend seamlessly into users’ homes, without standing out too much. There’s also a 360-degree rotatable handle, allowing it to be moved anywhere with ease. The CineBeam Qube will be on display at LG’s CES booth on January 9-12.
