Whenever a new smartphone model is released, more often than not a price increase accompanies the launch. Thankfully, the rumors are claiming that the Samsung Galaxy S24 will not see a price increase. In fact, a recent post by GalaxyClub.nl has even suggested that we could be in for a price drop.
The post claims that for the base Galaxy S24 model, prices will start at 899 Euros, while the Galaxy S24+ will go for 1,149 Euros, both of which are about 50 Euros cheaper than its predecessor. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the Galaxy S24 Ultra which will apparently be more expensive by 50 Euros at a starting price of 1,449 Euros.
Keep in mind that the prices are in Euros so when they do make their way stateside, it will not be a direct conversion. At this point in time it is unclear what the US (or global) prices are at the moment, but if this price drop is an indication, hopefully at the very least US prices will remain the same as the Galaxy S23 lineup.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S24 series towards the middle of January 2024 shortly after CES 2024, so be sure to check back with us then if you’d like all the official details.
