The OnePlus 12 will be the company’s next flagship phone, and it also seems that it will launch next month. This was confirmed by OnePlus on Weibo in which they revealed that the phone will be announced on the 4th of December, 2023.
This is interesting because OnePlus usually makes flagship announcements at the start of the new year, but we have been hearing rumors that OnePlus plans to launch their next flagship phone before the end of 2023 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and it looks like those rumors are true.
The phone was recently spotted on a certification website so we can’t say we’re too surprised by this announcement. Whether or not this announcement will cover global availability or just China availability remains to be seen. In the meantime, we have been hearing rumors that the OnePlus 12 could come with cameras that takes advantage of Sony’s latest CMOS sensors.
OnePlus also recently confirmed a partnership with display maker BOE, where the handset could feature one of the brightest displays we’ve ever seen on a smartphone.
