The rumors have claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will be launched in early 2024. Now thanks to additional details posted by Korea publication The Elec, we have a more specific date to look forward to about its launch, and also when the phones are expected to be available for purchase.
According to the report, the event will be held on the 17th of January 2024 in San Jose, California. They also claim that the phone will be available for pre-order on the 18th of January 2024, and that they expect to be shipped out to customers on the 26-30th of January, about two weeks after the launch date.
As for pricing, that is a bit unclear but it is rumored that Samsung will be maintaining the prices of the phones with its predecessor, meaning that the base model could be priced starting at $900, and that the Ultra variant could be priced up to $1,200, but we’ll have to wait and see.
Leaked renders have shown a slight redesign to the phone where it will now sport a more traditional flat display instead of the slightly curved ones we’ve seen in the past. Samsung is also rumored to adopt titanium in the body of the phone, similar to Apple’s iPhone 15. Take this with a grain of salt but if the January launch is correct, we should expect official invites in the coming month or so.
