Renders of Samsung’s next super rugged smartphone have leaked

0

If you’re looking for the best rugged smartphone, Samsung’s Galaxy XCover series is one of the best options you can find. While Samsung’s flagship phones are what they’re known for, their XCover lineup of rugged smartphones actually do a pretty good job when it comes to offering the best smartphone protection.

If you’re thinking of getting an XCover handset, you might want to wait because according to a leak shared on X by Arsène Lupin, the Galaxy XCover 7 could be launching soon as renders of the handset have been posted.

We’ll admit we thought Samsung might have forgotten about the handset. The previous model, the Galaxy XCover 6, was launched in 2022 and we didn’t see a new model this year. It is unclear if the XCover 7 could still launch before the year is out, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Samsung were to save it for early 2024.

The renders show a slight redesign over its predecessor with an interesting back. Specs are unclear at this point in time, but presumably it should share similar protective features as the XCover 6, maybe with some slight improvements. Either way we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information when the handset does eventually get announced.
