OnePlus to Launch a New Tablet in October

0

It’s probably safe to say that OnePlus’ initial attempt at launching an Android tablet in an already crowded market space has been met with relative enthusiasm from fans and Android tablet users, thanks to a combination of good hardware and decent pricing. With that in mind however, it looks like the company is building on the momentum of the OnePlus Pad, with a newer, more affordable model on the way soon.

First referenced to via a social media post a few weeks back, OnePlus has finally acknowledged the OnePlus Pad Go, which based on the name could be a more affordable alternative to the company’s flagship tablet. The device was shown off in a photo by OnePlus India’s social media page, with the tagline “All Play, All Day.”

Based on the photo, the OnePlus Pad Go will feature a design that’s very similar to the OnePlus Pad, which comes with a landscape form-factor in addition to a rounded camera module on the rear panel. Not much else was written in the post, so hardware details and pricing are unknown at the moment, at least officially.

It is reported though that the device might see an October 6 launch date, in which case OnePlus fans might want to keep an eye out for additional product details that might be announced soon.
