Samsung recently announced that it was launching a new line of high-end SD cards, with support for technologies such as USH-I compatibility. The new cards will be sold under Samsung’s “PRO Ultimate” branding, and will come in several different storage capacities.

The PRO Ultimate’s UHS-I interface allows Samsung’s new SD cards to achieve read speeds of up to 200MB/s and write speeds of 130MB/s, which should prove handy for users looking to transfer 4K UHD videos, and other heavy-capacity files.

For pricing, the Samsung PRO Ultimate microSD card will be available in three different storage capacities of 128GB, 256GB and 512GB, starting at $20.99 for the 128GB model and $64.99 for the 512GB card. Meanwhile, the PRO Ultimate microSD card with the included card reader starts at $28.99 for 128GB to $72.99 for 512GB

Additionally, the PRO Ultimate SD card is available in four capacities of 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB, starting at $18.99 for 64GB to $84.99 for 512GB. Finally, the PRO Ultimate SD card with the bundled card reader ranges from $26.99 to $92.99 for the 64GB and 512GB cards, respectively.

In terms of availability, the PRO Ultimate SD card will be available for several regions later in October, while the micro SD variant is now currently on sale.
