After months of speculation, Sony finally recently unveiled its latest PlayStation hardware in the form of the PlayStation Portal, a handheld streaming device that can run games from your PS5. With that said, the company also unveiled two additional gaming accessories, the Sony Pulse Elite Headset and Pulse Explore wireless earbuds. As per Sony’s official announcement post:
Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore will be the first PlayStation audio devices to use custom-designed planar magnetic drivers for an audiophile-level listening experience normally found in premium headphones for professional sound engineers.
The Sony Pulse Elite headset comes with lossless audio, as well as a retractable boom mic and AI-enhanced noise rejection for background sounds. Sony has also include a charging hanger with the headphones. Meanwhile, the Pulse Explore earbuds will come with dual microphones, lossless audio, AI-enhanced noise rejection, as well as a charging case.
As for pricing, Sony says that the Pulse Elite will be available for $149.99, while the Pulse Explore will come priced at 199.99. Sony hasn’t released any info regarding availability and pre-orders, so fans will have to keep an eye out for any further announcements on the two new devices.
