On the 28th of August, Realme will be officially debuting its next smartphone, the Realme GT 5. But it seems that the company can’t wait to get the word out because the company has since released the official renders of the handset along with some of the specs and features we can look forward to.
Perhaps one of the features we can most likely look forward to would be its charging speeds. The handset is said to be capable of supporting charging speeds of up to 240W, which is faster than the Realme GT Neo 5 which debuted last year with 210W charging speeds, which was still pretty impressive.
Take note that at the moment, the Infinix Zero Ultra is still the fastest charging phone we’ve seen with a whopping 260W, but we imagine that in real world use, the difference of 20W probably won’t be too big.
As for its specs, the Realme GT 5 is expected to launch with a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and could come with as much as 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The renders have also revealed a triple camera setup on the back that also houses an LED light, but the exact specs of the cameras are still unclear.
Either way, all the official details will be revealed next week so check back with us then for more updates.
