The Realme GT Neo 5’s charging speeds put the competition to shame

0

These days, a lot of handset manufacturers don’t advertise how long-lasting their batteries are, but rather how fast they charge. We suppose it’s a pretty good alternative because at least the charging times are fast.

That being said, it seems that Realme could be readying a device that will blow the competition out of the water. The company is expected to launch the Realme GT Neo 5 soon and according to leaked photos, apparently the higher-end models will come with support for 240W charging!

That’s pretty crazy fast because at the moment, the phone with the fastest charging is the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ which has 210W fast charging, which means that if the leaked photos are true, Realme’s upcoming handset will beat it handily. With 240W charging, it is said that it will be able to fully recharge the handset in just 9 minutes.

As GizChina points out, this is the first handset that has a single digit fast charging time, which is pretty impressive. That being said, we’re not sure when the handset is expected to be announced and which markets it will be available in, but either handset, 240W is quite impressive so it could be a handset to look out for if fast charging is a feature that’s important to you.
