Amazon Rolls out New Update for Several Kindle Devices

If you own an Amazon Kindle e-reader, then you might want to check if your device is eligible for the latest update for the latest update, which comes with software version number 5.16.2.1.1.

The update is compatible with several models including the Kindle Paperwhite 3 from 2015, 7th generation Kindle Paperwhite, all the way up to the 11th generation Kindle launched last year. Meanwhile, the Kindle Scribe has also received an update, although it comes with software version number  5.16.2.0.1.

Amazon hasn’t been too specific on what comes with the update, although it’s speculated that it might be a minor update with some bug fixes, while the last big update was launched back in June, although no specific release notes were elaborated with that either.
