The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE might not be that much cheaper

0

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 tablets were announced recently and they did not come cheap. The base model is priced starting at $799 which makes it a bit of a hard sell for users who are on the fence about owning a tablet, but then there were rumors suggesting that Samsung could be planning an FE version, which in theory should be cheaper.

Unfortunately, it looks like it might not be that much cheaper after all. This is according to a tweet by WinFuture.de’s Roland Quandt who claims that the base WiFi-only model could be priced starting at 63000 INR. After conversion, this roughly translates to about $760.

We would like to note that these conversions don’t always equate to the actual price we’ll be seeing in the US. If we had to venture a guess, it might end up around the $699 mark, but that’s just our speculation. It could be lower than that so we’ll just have to wait and see. For context, even at the $600 mark, it is still more expensive than previous tablet SE models.

That being said, Samsung has yet to confirm when the Galaxy Tab S9 FE models will launch. We know that the tablets exist as their names were spotted on Samsung’s own website, so now it’s more a question of when rather than if.
