While Samsung’s Galaxy “A” series handsets count among its more popular midrange devices, the company’s Galaxy F handsets have likewise seen a considerable user base, prompting the company to maintain the line. With that being said, Samsung has recently announced its newest F model, the Samsung Galaxy F34.

In terms of hardware, the Galaxy F34 comes with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a notch cutout for the 16MP selfie camera. The screen is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 5, which is a much-welcome addition.

The phone runs on Samsung’s own Exynos 1280 SoC, which works alongside a choice of either 6 or 8GB of RAM as well as 128GB of expandable storage. The phone also ships with Android layered with Samsung’s One UI interface, with up to four years of Android updates and five years of software support.

For optics, the handset features a 50MP main camera with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro cam, a setup typical on most budget and midrange phones. The software side is covered by One UI 5 based on Android 13 while the battery comes in at 6,000 mAh and supports up to 25W charging.

The phone will be available in India starting August 12, with a price of around $230 when converted.
