New Redmi Watch 3 Active Announced

0

A while back, Xiaomi announced the Redmi Watch 3, which featured some pretty impressive hardware and software features for a relatively inexpensive price. With that being said, the company has recently announced a follow-up in the form of the Redmi Watch 3 Active, which is catered towards users with a more competitive lifestyle.

Announced for Indian markets, the watch will come with up to 12-day battery life, a 1.83-inch display, 5ATM waterproofing, around 200 watch faces, 24/7 health tracking, more than a hundred sports modes, and period cycle tracking. The Redmi Watch Active will also come in three colors including grey, silver and olive green, all with a metal finish. The watch also features a single action button, which works alongside the touch screen for user navigation.

With all that being said, there are several similarities between the regular Redmi Watch 3 such as the abundance of sports modes and watch faces, as well as 5ATM waterproofing, although the “regular Watch 3 features a smaller 1.75-inch display.

In terms of price, the Redmi Watch 3 Active is rather affordable, priced at just $36 when converted. This makes it one of the cheaper feature-packed wearables on the market at the moment, competing with other entries from Huawei, Honor, and Fitbit, although these are understandably a bit more expensive.
