Razer’s Moray in-ear monitors are aimed at gamers and streamers

Not all headphones and earphones are created equally. Typically speaking, headphones that are geared towards the average consumer have already been tuned to sound a certain way, like maybe emphasizing on the bass or trebles, while headphones designed for music creation or audiophiles might have a flatter sound signature.

If you’re more interested in the latter, then you might want to check out Razer’s latest offerings. Razer is well-known in the gaming space for creating gamer-centric accessories and peripherals, but with the launch of the Razer Morays, these are the company’s first pair of in-ear monitors that they claim have been created with gamers and streamers in mind.

The Moray earphones come with a hybrid dual-driver acoustic design and a balanced armature driver that they claim will deliver clearer trebles and richer bass. They have also been THX Certified and while they don’t have active noise canceling features, since these are in-ear designs, they do offer passive noise isolation.

Another thing to note is that these are wired headphones. While wireless earbuds are all the rage these days, wired means not having to worry about battery life. Also, if you mostly use headphones at home, you can just keep them plugged into your computer. They do come with a carrying case and multiple ear tips to fit a variety of ear sizes.
