Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 specs leaked online

0

Over the past few years, Xiaomi has joined the foldable phone hype by launching several models of their own in the form of the Mix Fold series. So far, two models have been released, and it is largely expected that the company will follow up with a new model later this year, the Mix Fold 3.

The handset has yet to be officially announced by the company, but thanks to Digital Chat Station, the potential specs of the phone have been revealed, so if you are curious about the handset and might be considering it for your next foldable, then here’s what you can expect.

For starters, the chipset the Mix Fold 3 is rumored to use is none other than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. This is a chipset that has been used by the majority of flagship Android phones that launched in 2023, so it doesn’t really come as a surprise.

On the camera side of things, the exact sensors of the phone are unclear, but apparently there will be four rear cameras where one will be a 3.2x portrait camera and there will also be a 5x periscope camera, but we don’t know what the remaining two will be.

There was also no mention of the display specs of the phone, but it is expected to continue using the phone-tablet hybrid design, but Xiaomi could adopt a new waterdrop hinge that would allow the phone’s hinge to be smaller and potentially more durable and less prone to issues like dust getting caught in between the hinge’s mechanism.

So far everything sounds quite par for the course, but hopefully we’ll have more details on the handset in the near future, so stay tuned!
