As far as Android brands go, Carl Pei’s Nothing Phone line has been one of the most talked-about devices, and the hype behind the upcoming Nothing Phone 2 – the sequel to last year’s Phone 1 – has shown no signs of slowing down.
With that in mind, it’s only a few weeks more until we finally get to see the Phone 2 in all its glory, as it’s set to feature some big upgrades in terms of design and hardware. The device is set to be revealed via an official launch event, which you can tune into online. Users can watch the Nothing Phone 2’s livestream reveal via the nothing.tech/pages/event and on YouTube on Tuesday 11 July, 17:00 CEST/11:00 AM ET/8:00 AM PT.
While we still have to get the full specs sheet on the nothing Phone 2, there have been some tidbits about the device in the past few weeks. it’s expected that the Phone 2 will come with a larger battery compared to its predecessor, and will come with support for three years of Android software updates.
Additionally, Nothing also says that the Phone 2 was built with sustainability in mind, including the increased use of recycled or bio-based parts, which the company says is about 3x more compared to the original Nothing Phone (1). Nothing will be using 100% recycled tin on the Phone 2’s circuit boards, 100% recycled copper foil, and over 90% of recycled steel.
