New Leak Shows a Possible Feature for Google’s Pixel 8 Pro

0

While Google has just announced a new batch of Pixel hardware some days ago, the internet hasn’t stopped from trying to get its hands on the latest leaks and rumors about future Google handsets – after all, the Pixel 8 series hasn’t launched yet, but a video making its way around the internet seems to reveal an upcoming new feature on the device.

In a video that’s since been deleted on YouTube, tech website 91mobiles shared a video of a Pixel 8 Pro device in action, which shows off a new thermometer feature. The alleged function works by holding the device close to the user’s forehead, and moving it across to the temple to measure a user’s temperature. The thermometer is placed in the Pixel 8’s camera bar, as seen in the video.

The leaked video also seems to confirm the Pixel 8 design renders that were leaked a while back, which shows a design similar to the Pixel 7 series, albeit a bit more rounded in the corners. It’s speculated that the 8 Pro will come with a large 6.7-inch display, which will now feature a flat panel as opposed to the curved screen on the Pixel 7 Pro and the 6 Pro.
