US Buyers can Soon Get their Hands on a New Nokia Phone

0

After making an appearance via a Geekbench listing a while back, it looks like an upcoming Nokia handset will soon make its way to American shores, according to reports online.

As spotted by the team over at Nokiamob, the Nokia Orion, aka the Nokia C300 might be launched within this year for North American markets, giving buyers in the US a new and affordable option from Nokia once the device launches. A new product render also shows the phone with a rather “standard” Nokia design, with thick bezels, a waterdrop notch camera, and a triple-camera setup on the rear panel.

With that being said however, it looks like the device is strictly meant for budget buyers, given that it scored 306 points in Geekbench’s single-core testing, and 1164 for multi-core performance. The Geekbench listing also shows that the phone will ship with Android 12, which is a rather old version of the OS at this point. It doesn’t look like the phone will come with 5G connectivity either.

No price or release date has been revealed at the moment, so Nokia fans in the US might have to wait a bit more for a formal announcement from the company, or at least if the device leaks on the internet with more hardware details.
