We’re getting closer and closer to the newest version of the Pokemon TCG Live for smart devices, and the Pokemon Company has finally announced that the game will be made available on 6pm BST/10am PDT June 8 this year. First announced back in 2021, the game will replace the current title available for Apple iPads.
This is not a mobile-exclusive release however, as the game will also be available for Windows and Mac computers. It will feature a lot of the core gameplay elements and mechanics of the popular trading card game franchise, with some extra features added for new players (as well as veteran TCG experts).
The game will come with a variety of deck-battling gameplay modes as well as multiplayer, daily quests, and other gameplay styles which are suited for modern gameplay adapted for mobile. The Pokémon TCG’s new “Scarlet & Violet – Paldea Evolved” expansion will also be available at launch.
This upcoming title will add to the growing list of Pokemon spin-off titles available on mobile devices, such as Pokemon GO and Pokemon Unite, the latter of which incorporates MOBA gaming elements.
