Remember back in the earlier days of the smartphone where we saw companies like HTC and LG put out smartphones that offered 3D displays without the need for special glasses? That fad eventually died out and we thought that it was gone for good, but earlier this year, ZTE’s nubia brand brought it back with the nubia Pad 3D.

Now, if you’re interested in the tablet, then you might also be interested to learn that the tablet is now available for purchase directly from ZTE’s website. The tablet is priced at $1,199 and the good news is that if you were to purchase anytime between the 11th of April until the 25th of April, you will be able to get yourself a $50 discount as well as save 50% on a protective case for the tablet.

In terms of specs and features, obviously the selling point here would be its glasses-free 3D display. The company has teamed up with Leia and is using their 3D lightfield technology that combines AI to help track your face in real-time so that you can achieve the 3D effect no matter the angle.

The display itself measures 12.4-inches and has a 2.5K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the tablet will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset and will feature LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and will boast a 9,070mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
