We all use our phones in different ways because we have different needs. For some, they need the best of the best because they can either afford it or because they need to run apps and do things that require the latest and most powerful hardware.
Others might not need something so grand or expensive and just want a phone to watch videos on, surf the web, and play games from time to time. If that describes you and your needs, then you might want to take a look at the Xiaomi 13 Lite, Xiaomi’s latest smartphone that is part of the company’s Xiaomi 13 series.
Unlike the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, the Lite has been designed to be more of a mid-range handset that packs a massive 6.55-inch display. It boasts a FHD+ resolution and while it might be a mid-ranger, it features a buttery smooth 120Hz refresh rate with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
Under the hood, the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, which is a little less powerful than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 found on the 13 and 13 Pro, but it is no slouch. Xiaomi is pairing the phone with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, and it will be available in 8GB+128GB or 8GB+ 256GB RAM and storage configurations.
While the Xiaomi 13 Lite is a mid-range phone, it will come with a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 50MP wide angle Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
The phone will also come with a 4,500mAh battery with 67W wired charging, along with support for dual SIM, 5G, and WiFi 6 and will be priced starting at €500.
