Samsung Camera Assistant Arrives on More Devices

0

Samsung’s efforts in creating a more competitive camera app experience for users has resulted in some rather interesting hardware and software features. One of these is Samsung’s camera assistant, which originally arrived last year for a select few Galaxy devices. With that said though, the software feature has recently been announced for more Samsung phones, beyond its Galaxy S-series flagships.

More specifically, the Camera Assistant will be compatible for several phones including the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy S21 series, the newest Galaxy S23 series, as well as foldable devices including the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4. The feature will be compatible once a user has installed the One UI 5.1 update on their device, and will come with version number 1.1.00.4. Once One UI 5.1 is installed, Camera Assistant can then be downloaded on the Galaxy Store.

This ties in with Samsung’s recent push to bring One UI 5.1 to more Samsung flagships. This new version of Samsung’s proprietary skin comes with a set of new features, including updates to the Samsung Camera app, visual customization options, widget functionality, and improvements to wireless integration with other Samsung products.
