Samsung is bringing a new Galaxy feature to older Galaxy phones

0

Whenever a new phone is introduced, it usually comes with new software features that may or may not make its way to older models. The good news for those who haven’t upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S23 series or who don’t have any intention to is that it looks like Samsung hasn’t forgotten about you.

The company recently announced that they will be bringing One UI 5.1 to some of its older devices, and one of the newer features that users can look forward to on their older devices is the Image Clipper.

This is basically a feature that allows users to quickly copy and paste images from videos or photos, making it easier for users to share them with others or to insert it into emails, documents, notes, and more. This new feature will be part of the One UI 5.1 update that will be available to the Galaxy S20, S21, and S22 series, as well as the Note 20 series, the Galaxy Z Fold 2, 3, 4, and the Galaxy Z Flip, Flip 5G, Flip 3, and Flip 4 smartphones.

The roll out of One UI 5.1 is expected to take place in the coming weeks, so do keep an eye out for it if you’re hoping to give your old(ish) Galaxy smartphone a new lease on life with some of the new features.
