OnePlus Nord CE 3 is reportedly undergoing testing in India

The OnePlus series of Nord phones are a great way of getting a smartphone without having to break the bank. It also marks the return of OnePlus to their budget roots, which is what they were known for when they first came onto the scene.

To date, the company has launched quite a few Nord phones, but if you skipped out on upgrading your phone last year, then you might be interested to learn that OnePlus is already testing out a new Nord phone in the form of the OnePlus Nord CE 3.

This is according to a report from MySmartPrice who reports that the OnePlus Nord CE 3 is currently undergoing testing in India. According to what they have been told by their sources, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 is expected to come with a 6.43-inch 90Hz AMOLED display with a FHD+ resolution.

Under the hood, a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset can be found alongside 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone is also expected to sport a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP main shooter from Sony with an aperture of f/1.8, an 8MP f/2.25 ultrawide lens, and a 2MP f/2.2 mono lens, with a 32MP Sony f/2.4 camera sitting on the front.

What’s interesting is that the phone is rumored to launch with Android 12 out of the box, which is a little disappointing given that Android 13 has already been released. There’s no word on when the OnePlus Nord CE 3 will be officially announced, but if it is undergoing testing, perhaps an official launch won’t be too far off.
