It is more than likely that the Samsung Galaxy S23 will be unveiled in the early part of 2023, but when exactly is anyone’s guess. But now according to reports out of Korea, it has been suggested that the Unpacked event will most likely take place in February 2023.
While nothing has been confirmed, given that the Galaxy S22 series was also unveiled in February earlier this year, we guess it shouldn’t be too surprising that the next event will also take place in February a year later.
Samsung has typically chosen to launch their new flagships in the early part of the year around January or February, so these dates are a very real possibility. If true, we should be able to expect Samsung to start sending out invites in the next few months.
The Galaxy S23 will represent the next-generation of Samsung flagship smartphones. If the rumors are true, the Galaxy S23 is expected to be an iterative upgrade and we shouldn’t expect anything major. There have been reports that claim the phone will pack a 200MP main camera, a new Qualcomm in-display fingerprint sensor, and of course the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
Take this with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully we’ll have more details soon.
