Nothing’s launch of its debut Phone 1 was accompanied by promises of an efficient version of Android, free from bloatware alongside healthy servings of software updates. With that said, owners of the Nothing Phone 1 can now get access to the latest software patch for the device, according to information online.
Coming in at around 79MB, the update brings a ton of software improvements and fixes. The changelog is as follows:
New Features
Improvements
Bug Fixes
A while back, Nothing CEO Carl Pei teased an upcoming Android 13 update, via an online post on Twitter. Not much information was specified other than the accompanying screenshot, although the company is expected to launch a public beta for Android 13 in the coming months, which could mean that it might come later this year or in early 2023.
Of course, nothing is official unless the company says so, so Phone 1 owners will have to wait a bit more for the official Android 13 upgrade. In the meantime, users can check for the OS 1.1.7 update by heading into their System app.
