Samsung did take slightly longer compared to some other handset manufacturers when it comes to the Android 13 update, but to be fair, the company has a lot of phones under its belt which means that there is a lot of work to be done when it comes to ensuring compatibility and optimization.
So far the company has pushed out the One UI 5.0 update for its newer flagship phones, but the good news is that if you’re the owner of the Galaxy S20 FE, you might be interested to learn that Samsung has finally gotten around to the handset and has started rolling out the update for the device.
For those who are unsure if they have updated, the update will come with the firmware version G780FXXUAEVK3. The update is also about 2GB in size so you’ll want to make sure that your phone is connected to a charger and you’re using WiFi to download the update otherwise you might burn through your data plan.
Also, one thing to note is that the update has started rolling out over in Russia first, so if you’re living in another part of the world, it might take a little bit longer to get to you. Like most updates, this will probably be pushed out in phases and for those living in the US and got the phone through a carrier, there might be additional delays, but either way it looks like the update is ready so keep an eye out for the notification.
