Another day, another new Xiaomi leak – it seems that the Chinese electronics giant is gearing up for the release of its newest and much-anticipated smartphone, the Xiaomi 13. While there’s still no formal announcement from Xiaomi regarding the release date and design of the phone, a handful of renders have been making their rounds online.
A post from CompareDial in cooperation with OnLeaks features several photos of the Xiaomi 13, which showcases a clean and rather premium-looking design. Based on the 3D renders, the phone will feature a flat display, metal sides, as well as a glass back. The display will come with a hole-punch front-facing camera, and will measure 6.2 inches, similar to other flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S22, for example.
The rear panel meanwhile comes with a triple-camera array, and it looks like the sides will feature a flat design, similar to the iPhone 14 series. This news follows recent reports showing a brand-new Xiaomi concept, which demonstrates a mountable full-sized camera lens attached to the back of a Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
In any case, we’ll have to wait a bit more for an official announcement of sorts from Xiaomi. With that said though, the Xiaomi 13 renders do look exquisitely premium, and it would be interesting if this turns out to be the final design when it finally launches.
