Android 13 now available for Samsung Galaxy S22 on Verizon and T-Mobile

Earlier this week, One UI 5.0 started to roll out to the Samsung Galaxy S22 but this was for devices outside of the US. This is because in the US, updates will need to be approved by carriers first which can delay its rollout.

The good news is that if you’re on Verizon or T-Mobile, then you’ll be very happy to learn that the Android 13 update is now available for the Galaxy S22 on both carrier’s networks. It looks like it wasn’t too much of a delay and is now available a little under a week following its official release.

That being said, T-Mobile has yet to officially announce the rollout of the update. Instead, this comes from a multitude of user reports on Reddit who are claiming to have received the update. We imagine that this will most likely be pushed out in stages, so if you haven’t received any notification yet, don’t worry it should eventually make its way to you.

As for non-Galaxy S22 owners, Samsung has started to include more of its handsets in the One UI 5.0 beta. For the most part, the company’s flagship phones are all expected to receive it by the end of the year, while some might only receive it in 2023, so just remain patient and it should find its way to your handset eventually.
