If you’re looking for a new smartwatch to help track your health and fitness, then Fossil has something for you in the form of the Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition Smartwatch. According to the company, this is their latest smartwatch which comes with improved health and wellness metrics.
This includes an exclusive Wellness app that can track your vitals while preserving battery life. There is also a built-in SpO2 monitor that tracks blood oxygen levels, a cardio fitness level that can determine how fit you are based on an estimation of your VO2 Max levels, and it can also detect your workouts so you can start tracking it immediately.
There are also heart rate zones so if you’re trying to hit a certain target or check what zone you’re in, you’ll be able to do so as well. As expected of a smartwatch, there is also sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, and more.
Fossil’s Gen 6 Wellness Edition Smartwatch will also come with Google’s latest Wear OS 3 platform preinstalled and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+ chipset. It also features a 1.28-inch always-on display, buttons that can be customized for specific actions,
The watch itself will be available in three different styles, all of which come in a 44mm case. There will be one made with black IP, a silver-tone stainless steel model, and a rose gold-tone stainless steel. They also feature s silicone straps that make them easier to clean and perfect if you plan on swimming with them (water resistance is up to 3ATM).
The Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition Smartwatch will be launching on the 17th of October and will be priced at $299 and extra silicone straps can be bought at $30 each.
