Meet the Logitech G Gaming Handheld

0

A while back, we mentioned that Logitech was in the process of developing a handheld gaming console, which will be powered by Android and will have support for Cloud gaming services. As such, Logitech has finally announced the Logitech G CLOUD Gaming Handheld, its newest foray into on-the-go gaming.

The new device will come with a full set of gaming controls, a 60Hz 1080p touchscreen, support for Android software, and of course access to cloud gaming services. Developed in partnership with Tencent Games, the handheld will be able to stream games for users who have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, NVIDIA GeForce NOW, as well as SteamLink.

Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset with 4GB of RAM, and while this is not the most powerful Qualcomm mobile SoC out there, but should do well enough for most Android games and streaming features. There’s also USB-C compatibility as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio.

The Logitech G CLOUD Gaming Handheld will be available for retail in October 2022 for around $349.99, although at the moment it is down to $299.99 if you pre-order the device.
