Google hypes the Pixel 7 color options with potato chip flavors in Japan

0

Following a very short teaser of the Pixel 7 smartphones at I/O earlier this year, Google is set to unveil the Pixel 7 series in full at an event that they will be hosting next month. But it looks like over in Japan, Google has started hyping the color options for the phone by using potato chip flavors.

We’re pretty sure that these won’t be the actual names of the color options that Google will be using, but it might be fun if they did. We are looking at “Snow Cheese” for the white option, “Hazel Onion” for what looks like a slate/green-ish kind of color, “Salty Lemon” for the yellow-ish option, and “Obsidian Pepper” for the black option.

What’s interesting is that if you live over in Japan, Google will be running a lottery where you can enter and stand a chance to win one of 2,000 boxes of these potato chips. We’re not sure how these flavors will taste, although admittedly they all sound rather strangely delicious. This lottery will run until the 23rd of September, so you will have until then to put your name in the hat.

Google’s Pixel 7 event will be taking place on the 6th of October. In addition to the Pixel 7 smartphones, it is expected that Google will also unveil other products like its Pixel Watch, a new Pixel Tablet, and also maybe new Nest products.
