One of the things many people look forward to when it comes to new smartphone launches is a new design. New designs are exciting, it might offer up a look that you might prefer over the older one, maybe you just want something refreshing, better ergonomics, and so on.
Unfortunately, for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, would-be customers should probably brace themselves because according to a tweet by leakster Ice Universe, the camera design of the phone is expected to remain the same as its predecessor, the Galaxy S22 Ultra (just the camera design, there was no mention if the physical design of the phone will be the same).
100% confirmed that the Samsung S23 Ultra will maintain the exact same camera design as the S22 Ultra, I think this design is good and can continue to be used, it is simple and natural. pic.twitter.com/wzZZUEOcIi

For those unfamiliar, the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s camera design features a trio of cameras on the back along with the flash unit and other sensors. It’s a pretty simple and straightforward design, which Ice Universe feels is a good thing that Samsung isn’t changing. Seeing as no one else really had any issues with the back design of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, we suppose Samsung isn’t trying to fix what isn’t broken.
While the design might not change, under the hood it could be a different story. We have heard reports that Samsung might upgrade the main shooter of the Galaxy S23 Ultra to a 200MP sensor. In any case, it’s still a bit too early to tell how accurate these claims are, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
