Most of us love fried food, whether we’re talking about french fries, onion rings, nuggets, fried chicken, and so on. As much as we love them, we also know that fried foods tend to be rather unhealthy as the cooking process involves dunking the food into a huge pot of oil.

This is why air fryers are all the rage these days, where you get to enjoy your fried foods but it’s cooked in a slightly more healthy way. Now, there are so many air fryers in the market today, so how do you choose? If you’re looking to turn your home into a smart home, then perhaps the Proscenic T22 could be the air fryer for you if you’re looking for a smart air fryer.

Build-in smart functions

A lot of air fryers out there are “dumb” appliances, meaning that you would need to control it manually. One of the unique selling points about the Proscenic T22 is that it’s smart. This means that it actually works with digital assistants like Amazon’s Alexa and Google Assistant, making it one of the few air fryers with digital assistant support.

This will allow users to control the Proscenic T22 using their voice and issuing voice commands. There will also be an accompanying app that comes with 100 different recipes, giving users instant access to 100 different cooking ideas, set up their air fryers to cook in advance, check on the cooking process, and more.

Speaking of the cooking process, the accompanying app will come with features like a “Shake” reminder that monitors the status of your food and will let you know when it’s time to give the food inside a turn so that it will be able to cook more evenly, giving users better results in case they forget about it.

Small but mighty

If your kitchen space is small, then Proscenic T22 could actually be a perfect fit measuring at 36.1cm wide and 30.6cm tall. But don’t let its small size fool you because the basket of the Proscenic T22 is able to house quite a bit of food. We’re talking about 3.3lbs of fries, 13 chicken wings, and even an entire 4lb chicken!

It will also be able to provide 360-degree air circulation heater, and it can also be preheated so that your food doesn’t go in completely cold (which can affect how the final product turns out), and there’s also a “Keep Warm” feature that helps keep the food warm and retain its crispiness even after it’s done cooking.

If you’re cooking in advance or if you’re busy with something else, this combined with the smart features and app control will ensure that you won’t be left with burnt or soggy fried food items ever again.

The Proscenic T22 also comes with a non-stick basket that’s dishwasher-safe, so you won’t have to worry about food sticking to its surface and have all the breading/crumbs peel off when you remove it, and cleaning it will also be a piece of cake.

Cooking process

Like most air fryers, the Proscenic T22 is capable of cooking fried food in a more healthy manner. According to the company, they claim that the Proscenic T22 is capable of reducing as much as 90% of fats contained in food, making it a pretty healthy air fryer.

The air fryer itself is also relatively quiet. This is thanks to the Intelligent SuperDenoise Technology that is said to be able to reduce common noise by as much as 20%, and can maintain a low noise level of 48dB during its operation, so you won’t have to worry about the air fryer making a racket while it works.

There are also a bunch of presets – 11 to be exact – so if you’re unsure of the temperature and duration that you need to set for a particular food item, you can choose from one of the presets and you’re good to go. This will cover food items like Fries, Chicken, Steak, Vegetable, Fish, Shrimp, Pizza, Bacon, Onion Rings, Cake, and Toast.
