Samsung has recently released new software updates for two of its mid-range Android phones, the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G and the Galaxy M53 5G. The updates are now available for users in European and Latin American regions and provide some much-needed fixes.
The Galaxy M52 5G will receive the update with software version M526BXXS1BVG4, which will be available for users in Bolivia, Brazil, and Peru. Meanwhile, the Galaxy M53 5G will get software version M536BXXU1AVG1, which is now live for user in European regions, as well as India, Malaysia, Russia, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Both updates will come with the July security patch, which addresses a number of security issues.
Launched earlier this year, Galaxy M53 succeeds the M52, which was released back in 2021. Both phones come with similar specs, which include 6.7-inch AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates, side-mounted fingerprint sensors, and 5,000 mAh batteries. in terms of processing power though, the M52 comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778 5G SoC, while the M53 comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset.
To check if your phone can download the newest update, simply head into your “Settings” app, head over to “Software Update” and proceed to tap on “Download and Install” to begin the update process.
