Galaxy A53 owners, rejoice – the latest monthly Android update for the Samsung mid-ranger is now available for download and brings with it some performance and stability fixes for the handset.
The June 2022 software and security patch comes with software version number A536BXXU2AVF2, and this update will make its way to international 5G variants of the phone with model number SM-A536B. The update brings some much-needed stability fixes for the phone and camera in particular, and should be available for users in the UK, Ireland, Portugal, France, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Slovenia, Serbia, Austria, and Croatia. We can expect the update to make its way to more countries in the following days and weeks.
In our review of the Galaxy A53, we ranked it as one of the best mid-range phones available for users in 2022, thanks to its impressive display, good cameras and performance, as well as a reliable battery, all for a relatively-affordable price tag of $450. This might change though once Google’s very own Pixel 6a makes its way to markets worldwide.
If you own the phone and want to check for the update, simply head into the Settings App, scroll down to “Software Update,” and tap on “Download and Install” to initiate the download process.
