An online shop listing has revealed that Samsung is planning to launch a new affordable handset, called the Galaxy F13. An entry-level device, the phone is set to launch on June 22 in Indian markets.
Based on the marketing photos and a partial specs list, the phone ranks as an entry-level device through and through. The front is dominated by an LCD display with a waterdrop notch cut-out for the front camera, while the bottom edge of the device houses the charging port, speaker, and 3.5mm headphone jack. There’s also a fingerprint scanner located on the right-hand side, beside the volume button.
A Geekbench listing indicates that the F13 will be powered by the Exynos 850 SoC, and it will come with a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 15w fast-charging, and up to 8GB of RAM. There’s also a triple-camera set-up on the rear panel of the phone.
The Galaxy F13 will also launch ahead of the upcoming Galaxy Xcover6 Pro and Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro, which are set to be officially launched on the 13th of July. The phone and tablet will be the latest “rugged’ Samsung devices.
As for the Galaxy F13, Samsung fans will have to wait a bit more for the official launch event once it goes live next week.
