A while back, we mentioned how POCO’s Indian Twitter account was continuously sharing bits and pieces of information about the company’s upcoming F4 5G handset. As such, the brand’s page has finally given a definite launch date for the POCO F4 5G, which will be unveiled at an event on the 23rd of June.

The post specifies that the event will be a global launch, so POCO fans the world all over can rest assured that the device will make its way to several regions. The POCO F4 will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 5G chipset, and will also come with LiquidCool 2.0 technology, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, as well as a hardware design which features a flat and angular look with rounded corners.
The decision to put the Snapdragon 870 processor on the F4 5G is an interesting move on POCO’s part, as the processor is an older one and was previously used on the POCO F3 from 2021. Performance-wise though, it’s still a capable chipset especially when it comes to gaming.
The phone follows the launch of the POCO F4 GT, which comes with the faster Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, additional trigger buttons, as well as a more gaming-centric design.
With that said, POCO fans are in for a treat once the company finally announces the F4 5G.
