OnePlus deepens its North American presence with new UFC partnership

If you’re an Android user, there’s a good chance that OnePlus is a brand that you’re familiar with. The company started out creating phones aimed at people on a smaller budget, but over the years, they have grown considerably and are putting out some pretty compelling flagships.

But it seems that the company wants to make its presence in the North American markets felt even more as they have since announced a new business partnership with the UFC to help support the launch of the OnePlus Nord N20 5G. For those unfamiliar, the UFC, also known as the Ultimate Fighting Championship, is a martial arts organization specializing in MMA.

In this partnership between the UFC and OnePlus, it seems that we can look forward to seeing OnePlus branding being integrated into key UFC assets, including its pay-per-view broadcasts, along with the UFC’s custom and original content. The OnePlus brand will also be featured as a Presenting Partner for select segments of the UFC Embedded series.

OnePlus will also be contributing to fighters where there will be an annual Brand Ambassador fund that will help athletes part of the UFC participate in paid promotional opportunities. According to Jeff Norris, Head of Integrated Marketing at OnePlus:

“We are very excited to be partnering with UFC to support the OnePlus brand in North America. We’re both challenger brands and revolutionizing our respective industries, and we’re ecstatic to bring OnePlus smartphones and specifically the OnePlus Nord N20 5G to UFC’s amazing fan base.”
