Dress up your Motorola Edge+ with the Smart Stylus and Folio Case
Tyler Lee
Earlier this year, Motorola launched its latest smartphone, the Motorola Edge+. Usually when people buy new phones, they like to put a case on it to protect it from scratches, bumps, and drops.
There are, of course, many different cases that customers can choose from, but if you want something a little more official, Motorola has since announced that starting today, customers will be able to buy the official Motorola Folio Case for the smartphone as well as the Smart Stylus accessory.
As the name implies, the Folio Case is a case that comes with a front cover that can be flipped open. This is ideal for users who want to better protect their displays in case they feel that maybe a screen protector isn’t enough. The Folio Case has also been designed in such a way that the front cover has a small slit running down the middle that can be used to display the time, date, weather, and notifications, letting users see bits of information at a glance.
The case itself also comes with a little pocket at the back where users can store the Smart Stylus. While we would have preferred something a bit more integrated, it’s not a bad solution. The Smart Stylus will allow users to edit photos, write down handwritten notes, and even fill out online forms where the user’s handwriting can be converted into digital text and numbers. It even charges the stylus when not in use.
It also doubles up as a remote shutter for the phone’s camera, so you can set the phone down and then get into frame and press a button on the stylus to snap a picture. The Smart Stylus and Folio Case will be available from both Verizon and Motorola on the 12th of May where it will be priced at $80.
