Latest Nothing Launcher update makes it available for more devices

Last month, Nothing announced the availability of the Nothing Launcher. For those unfamiliar, this is a launcher designed to give us a glimpse as to what the company’s Nothing Phone (1) is expected to look like.

The launcher was launched in beta and was a bit limited at the start, but the company has since announced an update in its forums where in the latest update, the launcher will now be pretty much available to any Android device that can run Android 11 or later. According to the post:

“These improvements are all based on what you’ve said to us since we released Launcher (Beta). We know there’s more work to be done, but these immediate improvements are a first step. We’re building Nothing OS together here, and for that reason, a massive thanks for all your input.”

The update not only makes the launcher more widely available, but it also introduces some changes and improvements to the app. There don’t appear to be any major changes, but those running the original version should probably update it anyway.

The launcher can be downloaded from the Google Play Store, but keep in mind that technically it is still in beta so there might be certain bugs and issues that have yet to be ironed out, but if you’re curious about the Nothing Phone (1), then the launcher might be worth checking out if you don’t mind taking it for a spin.
