One of the nicest things about Gboard is how much fun it is to communicate with it. Emoji GIFs, stickers, Bitmoji, and even the incredibly amusing Emoji Kitchen are all easily accessible. Google recently introduced a new tool to the mix, allowing users to generate bespoke text stickers based on their typing.
Whether it’s wishing your pals a happy birthday, congratulating them on something, or simply saying good morning, these new personalized text stickers are a terrific way to honor them. As part of the March 2022 Function Drop, the feature began coming out to Google devices, including the Pixel 6 series, but don’t worry if you haven’t yet found out how to use it. I’ll talk you through how to get it up and running!
1. On Gboard, tap the settings icon to see your keyboard options.
2. Scroll to the bottom and select “Emojis, Stickers & GIFs.”
3. Toggle “Stickers” on in the “Suggestions” column. Gboard can now suggest interesting stickers for you to use in your messages as you type.
1. Open the app, go to a thread, and start typing.
2. Add an emoji after you’ve typed your word or phrase. Any emoji will suffice.
3. Based on what you entered, a sticker will display. To see additional possibilities, select this.
4. Choose your selection, and it will be added to your text area, replacing anything you put. Send the message.
That’s all you need to do!
