Oppo’s venture into the smartphone industry has been fairly successful, and we’ve seen some impressive devices from the Chinese manufacturer that rival even the likes of Samsung, featuring decent specs for relatively affordable prices. New leaks revealing an upcoming Oppo smartphone have surfaced, and the device comes with some eye-catching hardware specs.

According to a report online, the phone was spotted through a new TENAA listing, and is currently referred to as the Oppo K10. What’s most notable about the device is that it will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, a processor usually reserved for upper-tier to flagship Android devices.

Additionally, the phone is predicted to feature a 6.62-inch AMOLED display, with a punch hole cut-out for the front camera. The display will have a 1080x2400p resolution, and will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor, which is the norm for a lot of high-end devices these days. As for cameras, the device will feature a triple camera set-up at the back with a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and an additional another 2-megapixel sensor. The front camera on the other hand will come with a 16-megapixel sensor.

Other specs included in the report mention a 4,880 mAh battery, and two variants which include 8 and 12GB of RAM, as well as 128/256GB of storage. It’s also worth noting that the device is predicted to make its debut in China, although there’s no word of a global release date at the moment.

While it sells a majority of its devices outside the US, Oppo has seen some significant growth in the global market, falling in the top five brands with the most market share for Q4 2021, alongside major players like Apple and Samsung. The company is a brand of parent corporation BBK electronics, which also owns other smartphone brands like Vivo and OnePlus.
