Samsung just launched new Galaxy S20 FE variant in South Korea

0

The original Samsung Galaxy S20 FE was launched in 2020. The company later followed up with the Galaxy S21 FE so you would think that they were done with the 2020 model, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

According to reports, it appears that over in South Korea, Samsung has since announced a new variant of the Galaxy S20 FE. From what we can tell, hardware wise nothing has changed but Samsung is no longer bundling a pair of AKG headphones which has resulted in the phone priced cheaper.

The phone over in South Korea appears to be priced at KRW700,000, which is about KRW200,000 cheaper than its predecessor. We’re not sure why there needs to be a new variant if Samsung wanted to lower the price of the phone, but that appears to be what they’ve done. We’re not sure if there are plans to bring this particular version to other parts of the world, so we’ll have to wait and see.

Based on the specs, the phone will be the same as the previous model which means customers can expect a 6.5-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, a 4,500mAh battery, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, along with 5G connectivity. It is also expected to be offered in Cloud White, Cloud Lavender, and Cloud Navy.
