These are rumored specs for the OnePlus Pad 5G

OnePlus has largely stuck to smartphones so far, but if the rumors are to be believed, the company could be eyeing the tablet market next. In fact, according to a tweet by @Shadow_Leak, the alleged specs of the upcoming OnePlus Pad have been revealed so here’s what you might be able to expect.

According to the leak, the tablet will come with a huge 12.4-inch OLED display, but it will apparently only sport a FHD+ resolution. Under the hood, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 is rumored to be powering the device, and it could come with 128GB of storage. There will be dual cameras on the back in the form of a 13MP + 5MP setup, and an 8MP selfie shooter.

These aren’t the most amazing or high-res cameras we’ve seen, but then again, how many people actually shoot photos or videos on their tablets anyway? Plus, with the rumors suggesting that OnePlus is looking to create a mid-range tablet instead of a flagship one, less focus on the cameras could help keep costs down.

The other alleged specs include a 10,090mAh battery with support for 45W charging, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and it will come with Android 12 out of the box. This is interesting because prior to this, it was suggested that OnePlus could use Android 12L.

The tablet is also rumored to have entered into production in several regions and has been tipped to launch in the first half of the year.
